Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us
These terms are the agreement between you and us for Acquisition Command. They are written to be read. The parts about billing, renewal, cancelling and refunds are near the top.
Version 1, effective 13 October 2026.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Acquisition Command is operated by Del Val Investment Group, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the website at www.acquisitioncommand.com, the Acquisition Command app, the Free Academy and the emails and services that come with them (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and who processes it. If you use the service for a company, you accept these terms for that company and confirm you are allowed to.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. The service is offered to people and businesses in the United States; we do not offer it elsewhere. Give accurate account details, keep your password and authenticator to yourself, and tell us at support@acquisitioncommand.com if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
3. Workspaces and teams
Your data lives in a workspace. The person who creates it is its owner. Owners and admins invite and remove people, choose roles, and manage the workspace's plan and billing. Members and viewers use the workspace within the role they are given. Whoever controls a workspace is responsible for the people they invite and for how they use it. When someone is removed, what happens to their private notes and connected mailbox is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Plans, free trial, renewal and payment
- Plans. The Free Academy is free. Starter and Acquisition Pro are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Free trial. Each paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed to start it. If you have not added a payment method when the trial ends, the trial simply ends: you are not charged and your workspace returns to the Free plan. If you add a card, your paid subscription starts when the trial ends and you are charged then. Each workspace gets one free trial.
- Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, and your payment method is charged the price for your plan each time until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, as described in section 5.
- Founding Member pricing. Founding Member prices stay locked for life while your subscription stays active, even after list pricing takes effect, and your Founding rate follows you if you change plan. If a payment fails we keep your price while we retry, and if you cancel it is still yours for 30 days should you come back; after that, the current list price applies.
- Price changes. Apart from the Founding Member lock, we may change prices. We will email the workspace's owner at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and you keep your plan while it does. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and the workspace returns to the Free plan; nothing is deleted.
- What you are buying. You pay for the features of your plan that are live. Features marked “in build” on the pricing page are not part of what you buy until they are released.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel yourself at any time, with no email, phone call or retention call: in the app go to Settings, then Billing, then Manage billing, or use the “Manage billing or cancel” link in your trial email. Cancelling stops future charges. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for (or at the end of your trial), and you keep your plan until then. After that your workspace returns to the Free plan. Nothing you created is deleted; features outside the Free plan become unavailable until you subscribe again.
6. Refunds
30-day money-back guarantee: if a paid plan is not right for you, we will refund your first paid purchase in full if you ask within 30 days of it, monthly or annual. Email support@acquisitioncommand.com from the address on your account. Apart from that guarantee, payments are not refundable except where the law requires; cancelling stops future charges.
7. Your content and data
What you put into the service (deals, contacts, notes, documents, mail you choose to keep and everything else you create) stays yours. You let us store, process and show it only to run the service for you, in the ways the Privacy Policy describes, including sending the parts a feature needs to the service providers it names (for example, the AI features you start). We do not sell your data. You can export your workspace from Settings at any time. An owner can delete the workspace; it is deleted for good 30 days after the request, and the request can be cancelled until then.
8. Documents and other people's information
You may upload information about other people and businesses: sellers' financial statements and tax returns, offering memoranda, emails from brokers, contact details and the like. You confirm that you have the right to do so and that doing so does not break a confidentiality agreement (NDA), another agreement or the law. You are responsible for honoring the NDAs you sign. Where you can, remove Social Security numbers and full account numbers before you upload a document.
9. Connected mailboxes
If you connect a Microsoft or Google mailbox, you allow us to read it as the Privacy Policy describes, to find mail that belongs in your CRM. You can disconnect it at any time; what we kept from it is then deleted, as the Privacy Policy says.
10. Not advice
The service, including the Academy, calculators, scores, reports, financial models, evaluations and anything written by AI, is education and a tool to help you decide. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, lending or valuation advice, and we are not your broker, lender, adviser or fiduciary. AI-written content can be incomplete or wrong. Before you buy a business or sign anything, check the figures yourself and get advice from qualified professionals. You are responsible for your decisions.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law or anyone's rights; to send spam or misleading messages (including through Broker Outreach drafts, which you send yourself; honor anyone who asks you to stop); to upload malware; to get into accounts or data that are not yours; to probe, overload or work around the service's security or limits; to copy, scrape or resell the service or its content; or to build a competing product from it.
12. Our content and other services
The service, its software, the Academy, templates and other content we provide belong to us or our licensors. While you use the service you may use them for your own acquisition work, including filling in the templates for your deals. Some features rely on other companies' services, such as Stripe for payments and Microsoft or Google for a connected mailbox; their own terms apply to them. Listings and other material from third-party websites belong to their owners.
13. Availability, suspension and ending the service
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, add or remove features. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others or the service at risk, or does not pay; we will tell you when we reasonably can, and how your data is handled is set out in section 7 and the Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimers, limits on liability and indemnity
- Disclaimers. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it is fit for a particular purpose or that its results are accurate.
- Limits on liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, deals or data, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 U.S. dollars if you paid nothing.
- Indemnity. You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs if a third party makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or your breach of these terms.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, contact us first at support@acquisitioncommand.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any dispute that is not resolved goes to the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are always on this page. Before a material change takes effect, we will email the owners of active workspaces at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using the service.
17. General and contact
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part, we have not given up the right to. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the service.
