Your data stays yours
Delete your account
You can close your workspace yourself, from inside the product, without asking anyone. Here is exactly what happens when you do.
How to delete it
- 1. Sign in and open Settings.
- 2. Download an export first if you want a copy. Once the workspace is gone, so is the export button.
- 3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete workspace, type the workspace name to confirm, and verify your authenticator.
Only the workspace owner can do this, and it requires a verified authenticator app. An administrator cannot close the workspace.
What happens, and when
Immediately. Every connected mailbox is disconnected and our copies of the access tokens are destroyed, so no further mail can be read.
For the next 30 days. Your data still exists and you can cancel from the same screen. This window is deliberate: it makes a mis-click, or someone else getting into your account, survivable.
After 30 days. Everything is permanently destroyed — deals, contacts, follow-ups, deadlines, Deal Overview screens, saved academy work, and every uploaded document, including CIMs and financial statements. Uploaded files are removed from storage before the records that point at them. Your sign-in is deleted too, unless it also belongs to another workspace.
After that date, nothing can be recovered. We do not keep a copy for ourselves.
One thing we cannot do for you
Disconnecting a mailbox stops us reading it, but it does not remove Acquisition Command from the list of connected apps held by your e-mail provider. You can do that yourself at Microsoft or Google. We would rather say so than imply a revocation we do not perform.
If you cannot sign in
E-mail support@acquisitioncommand.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
